4-20MA RSD Series Remote Mount Solenoid Driver (4-20 mA Input Version)

4-20mA Input, User Selectable Output 

The Remote Mount Solenoid Driver simplifies remote control of proportional solenoids. The unit accepts 4-20 mA signal input and a wide range of power sources from 9-28 VDC. This linear solenoid driver utilizes high-frequency switching output (PWM) to provide a DC current output. Options for maximum current output include 2 Amps, 1.2 Amps, 600 mA or 400 mA. A current sensing circuit maintains current output regardless of changes in input voltage or coil resistance.

The user can adjust maximum and minimum current. Ramp time, dither frequency and amplitude can be adjusted to match the application. A system of LED’s indicates output power level, input power level and power on/off. It is CE certified for EMC.

The unit is available as a stand alone PCB board, as a packaged driver enclosed in an IP65 or IP67 rated metal housing with cable provided or with 3 connectors. OEM versions are available. The valve driver is designed for remote mounting. Other versions are available including 0-5 VDC/0-20 mA/10K potentiometer and 0-10 VDC signal input versions as well as a DIN 43650 coil mount version.
